2. Visitor data
2a Some data resulting from one or more visits to jvservices.be are kept permanently, but anonymously. The data will therefore never be traceable to a person or organisation.
2b J&V Services ensures that the stored data is secure.
3a J&V Services uses functional cookies to optimise the functionality of certain pages of the website. Cookies are small text files that are placed on the visitor’s computer by a website page. Such a cookie stores information such as specific preferences of the visitor. This allows J&V Services to provide the visitor with even better service on a subsequent visit. By making use, for example, of the domain names that the visitor has checked and saved, you will not need to enter the same information over and over again. This makes the site much more user-friendly.
3b The visitor can determine how cookies should be handled. Users can configure their browsers to allow, disallow or partially allow the use of functional cookies. In the latter case, it is possible to configure which websites are allowed to place functional cookies. The placing of functional cookies is then prohibited on all other websites. This option is provided by most commonly used browsers.
3c Cookies can always be removed from a computer, also via the browser.
3d J&V Services also uses marketing cookies on its own site as well as on its partner sites to make the communication of its services more personal and to better tailor it to the wishes of the individual client.
3e J&V Services uses Analytics Cookies that process not the surfing behaviour of individuals but of large numbers of visitors – anonymously – into graphs and patterns that help us to improve and optimise our websites.
